Vietnam House @ 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

Vietnamese cuisine encompasses the foods and beverages of Vietnam. Regular ingredients include fish sauce, shrimp paste, soy sauce, rice, fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables. Vietnamese recipes utilize lemongrass, mint, Vietnamese mint, long coriander and Thai basil leaves. Vietnam House in 1 Utama serves great Vietnamese delicacies which was delicious and the place was beautifully decorated.

Seafood & Minced Chicken Tauhu (RM 9.90)
This seafood beancurd was great as the beancurd was a mixture of soy and seafood meat which brings great taste, drenched in a pool of minced chicken, mushrooms, leeks and garlic. A simple tasty dish but salty on its own.

Pineapple Fried Rice with Salted Fish & Prawn (RM 16.90)
Their pineapple fried rice was delicious as it was fried with loads of vibrant vegetables and salted fish & prawns which was served in a pineapple. It was quite good except I did not get to taste much of the pineapple essence.

Beef in Bamboo Tube (RM 16.90)
I loved their sliced beef was served in a bamboo tube to give that authentic feeling. The sliced beef was cooked well done was it's juicy tender meat tasted great with each bite !

Spring Chicken (RM 22.90)
A small whole spring chicken was fried and then sliced into smaller pieces for consumption. Nothing special was going with this dish except some parts were not fully cooked.

Mixed Vegetable with Oyster Sauce (RM 9.90)
A simple looking dish where slices of mixed vegetables were tossed and cooked together with oyster sauce. Loved the extensive use of garlic flavours as I'm a sucker for garlic, but could work more on their dish presentation.

Mango Milkshake (RM 6.90)
A delicious mango milkshake which was unsweetened.

Soya Bean (RM 3.90)
Overall the food here are quite special as it exhibits authentic Vietnamese cuisine fused to fit local flavours. Do stop by this place ! Do checkout their menu here!
