During the weekends, I decided to drop by Crystal Crown Hotel Kuala Lumpur for their Hi-tea Buffet which is from 12 pm to 4pm thanks to http://www.everyday.com.my for their Weekend Hi-Tea Buffet For 1 Pax @ Crystal Crown Hotel, Kuala Lumpur (Halal). For a 3 star hotel, i would not complain much about their service, their Hi-Tea Buffet was ordinary and suitable for a normal family gathering if you tend to splurge in abit. The crowds usually present are mostly families with children staying around the hotel.
I started off with the salad choices, they were quite a variety of salad choice such as corns, potatoes, fish balls with eggplant, fruit salad, fried popiah, rojak buah and salmon in which I would say its quite impressive for a 3 star hotel. The most expensive ones was the raw salmon but it was very salty and I couldn't continue eating it and I just dispose it.

Steamboats are also available with a wide variety of seafood, meat, and vege available. However there is only one pot for you to use which makes the line long and time consuming. The seafood they offer are not fresh and i can feel it when eating it. Not recommended at all as it is really time consuming and not fresh.
Only one soup is available to choose which Cream of Mushroom Soup. It taste bland as I think too much water is mixed in with the soup making it dilute. In the soup itself I can see the mushroom concentrated cream blending around which means it is not fully dissolved.

For their main course, sorry i could not get a closer picture as many people were taking their dishes. Their main courses change periodically though. As a summary, what they serve are green vegetables, grilled lamb with mint mayo sauce, grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, fries, fried dory fish in which you can eat up with either spaghetti bolognese or pineapple rice. All taste ordinary and well, worth your money.

Even though their main course was not a winner, their desert line was filled with many choices and flavours. Cakes, cookies, kuih-kuih, fruits, ABC and sweet soup were among a few you can choose to savour with your loved ones.
Their cakes are bit sweet in which almost all hotel buffets serve sweet cakes. The banana fritters was not bad and quite scrumptious as everyone was grabbing it !
Overall, I would say for such discount I obtained ( RM 23), I would not complain much as their food was not bad for a 3 star hotel with variety of choices of cuisine. However the atmosphere was abit gloomy though.
