Kedai Kopi Hilltop existed even before I was born. It was famous for its western delicacies that serves most local KK patrons long time ago. However, in this era of fast-paced development, I was not amazed with their food as I felt it was dated and needs a little more improvement. Canned beans & pasta-bombed mayonnaise wouldn't work in today's demand of exquisite taste and flavour.
For such a heavy price you pay, you get a a huge portion of grilled pork served with a side serving of overcooked fries, canned beans, and homemade pasta. I guess a dry spell was casted on the pork as it was dry & hard to chew.

This garlic based chicken chop just gave me an indigestion. The chicken was ok but the garlic sauce was overwhelming. There was a flow of oil which I guess was used to cooked with garlic, flowing all over the sauce. I felt uncomfortable upon looking at the amount of oil present.
Besides western delicacies and Chinese kitchen food, there is a grill stall that sells really good grilled seafood platters. Fresh from the coast of Sabah, this luscious squid rings were cooked nicely and heavily battered with curry powder. The fresh aroma of squid rings with onions were great and goes well with rice. You can opt for other fresh seafood choices.
The pudding was sweet and cooling. Made in a real coconut, the smooth texture accentuates a clean & delicious sweetness of coconut pudding. However, taking much of this seems to make our sugar receptor goes haywire.

Generally, the western delicacy was a big disappointment to me as it does not meet my requirements personally. Price point would range around RM 16 - RM 30 but portion wise is much bigger than usual.
