Kyung Joo Korean Restaurant @ Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur

Recently, we purchased a LivingSocial deal for RM 10 that provides us with a Korean meal in Kyung Joo. Its quite a deal as you get a bibimbap + drink + side dishes for your consumption. But, they were nothing to rave about as service was cold and food tasted average to us.

Kyung Joo

Fried Beef Bibimbap
Firstly, a fried beef bibimbap that is topped with a raw egg yolk. The fried beef tasted good but it was dry and did not really blend well the other ingredients.

Kimchi Chicken Bibimbap
A simple kimchi chicken bibimap that tasted just like chicken + kimchi. Its does provide a good blend with the rice as essence of sourness and sweetness was there.

Spicy Squid Bibimbap
The spicy squid was alright but the squid was abit hard to chew.

Side dishes
Side dishes were also alright. A dish of flavoured leeks/carrots that was strong in taste, sweet black beans that was crunchy yet nice, and a kimchi dish that was alright too.

Iced Green Tea
They told us green tea was not refillable but the voucher stated free flow green tea. I wonder whos wrong?
