One of my Sibu suggested me that the nearest Sarawak Laksa that the could find that fits similiarly to her hometown delicacy would be the Sarawak food stall in Ming Tien, Bandar Sunway. Located in the middle of the car packed roads & traffic jams, this little Sarawak food stall is indeed worth a try.

|Sarawak Laksa, RM 5.50(S) Rm 6.00(B)|
Sarawak Laksa differs much from other states Laksa. It differs from the typical curry laksa that we eaten as the soup base contains no curry at all. This dish combines the likes of sambal belacan, sour tamarind, garlic, galangal, lemon grass and coconut milk, topped with omelette strips, chicken strips, prawns, fresh coriander and optionally lime. A very delicious dish for to spiced up your day!
|Sarawak Kan- Pua Mee, RM 4.50(S) Rm 5.00(B)|
A favourite Foochow dish originated from Sibu, is the Kan Pua Mee. This fine noodle shows similiar resemblance to the Sarawak Kolo Mee, but this dish has finer noodles and a little more moist from the added sauce. Topped with sliced char siew & minced pork, a simple delicious dish for breakfast.
