As the Chinese New Year holidays have passed by, with many adding up their belly mass, its time again for us to get back to our food reviews! This time, here is a post on a restaurant I visited before taking a long CNY break. Located in Paramount Garden of busy PJ, Grandpa Restaurant was one of the nearest distance to us for a delicious Bak Kut Teh lunch.

| Yam Rice (RM 2.00) |
You can have a choice of a Yam or white rice. The yam rice was indeed good as the flavours of the yam essence was permeating. In most Bak Kut Teh places, rice are served in either white, yam or, oil cooked rice.

| Claypot Bak Kut Teh (RM 33.00) |
A simple mixture of pork belly, mushrooms, pork ribs in the Bak Kut Teh soup was ok to us. The clear Teochew style soup was a mild light soup which some might prefer over strong flavoured soup.
