Malaysia Cuisine: Chicago Rib House @ 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

Chicago Rib House was one of the places where you can head off for some delicious & juicy pork ribs. Recently, I head over to their 1 Utama branch after my haircut for a heavy sinful fattening lunch. yikes! It was a quiet afternoon there as they were not many staff on duty and service was a little slow and waited for quite some time for my utensils. The food was great though thanks to LivingSocial!

The prices here are similiar to any Western cuisine franchises such as Chili's or T.G.I.F. The food here tasted delicious and great for any type of gatherings.

Soup of the Day (RM 5.90)

Our meals comes with their Soup of the Day which was a great combination of sweet chicken broth with vegetables and a dash of ground pepper which gives a edgier taste to it.

Grilled Bourbon Chicken (RM 27.90)

Their grilled Bourbon chicken was served where two grilled boneless chicken breast topped with mixed cheese and finally their signature Bourbon sauce. I've had a choice of two side dishes which I chose fragrant rice & baked jacket potato. The rice was a bit overwhelming but the baked jacket potato really brings a simple yet delicious essence on the plate.

Chicago Honey Garlic Half Rack Pork Ribs (RM 32.90)

Nothing is complete here without trying our their s-pork-tacular Chicago Pork Ribs. Their half rack Chicago Pork Ribs was slowly roasted in hickory wood which gives a delicious roasted taste topped off with honey garlic flavours. Comparatively, it was ok but not much of the honey garlic essence which I was looking forward to, but Morganfield's pork ribs still owns my heart. We had a side dish choice of fresh vegetables & mashed potatoes which both tasted great.
