Lavender Mooncakes 2012 @ Mid Autumn Festival 2012, Kuala Lumpur

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival or Zhongqiu Festival, is a popular lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese and Vietnamese people, In Malaysia, it falls on 30th September 2012. You may find yourself around many choices of mooncake brands. I would always succumbed to Lavender's mooncake as it is really delicious & appealing.

White Lotus Egg Yolk Bamboo Charcoal

Although most mooncakes taste the same to me every year, I do find Lavender's white lotus egg yolk bamboo charcoal the best I tasted so far in terms of sweetness, taste & essence used in making it. However, I do wish they would refrain from using too much oil, as it was abit oily when taken out.
