Supper is a name for the evening meal in some dialects of English. While often used interchangeably with "dinner" today, supper was traditionally a separate meal. In contrary, Malaysian uses the word "supper" which refers to a late night snack, usually at around 10 pm to 12 am.
Located in Kuala Lumpur, nearby Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor is famous for its massive flow of food stalls and restaurants which caters all kinds of food whether its Western or Oriental.
Since there are many shops to choose from, I just simply venture into Yee Hup Kee Hik as most stalls are the same repetiton of food choice along the roads. Also, the food prices here are a little higher than usual as this is a tourist hotspot.
|Fried Hokkien Mee|
We ordered the hokkien mee and it taste a little bit tasteless. It was fried with seafood and it was not really my favourite.
The rojak buah was a mixture of many fruits and some vegetables. Compared to other rojak buah, it was heavily sauced and garnished with massive amount of nuts. This taste is quite sweet and it would be suitable for people who likes sweeter taste.
Do venture along the Jalan Alor before deciding where to eat. This place are most packed at night time and it is really a great place to for tourists to try Malaysian food of all races.
Do watch out for your valuables though. Avoid putting it on the table.
