Jogoya Japanese Buffet Restaurant 2012 - Starhill Galley, Kuala Lumpur

When it comes to buffet, many factors are taken into account, food quality & quantity, type of  cusiine served, replenishing of food frequency, restaurant ambience, are a few factors that we usually think before heading off to. Jogoya Japanese Buffet Restaurant had been one my favourites as they serve a variety of Japanese, Oriental & Western cuisine in many forms.

Some of the Available Dishes

Do look out for their promotions ! For June, discounts are available for Jogoya members and Public Bank Credit/Debit card holders. I took their non member Parents day promotion, as 2 pax dine in only cost me around RM 147. Do check their website for further details. Remember to book !

Seafood Choices & Steamboat Dishes
A little introduction to newcomers of Jogoya, on each table there are a few clips (similar to paper clips), some dishes are not served instantaneously and therefore will be cooked  by the chefs. Spot for the empty bowls which attached gourmet pictures and drop your clip there (like above). Your dish will be served shortly on your table. (Clips will be returned)
Mushroom Soup, Steam Fish, Grilled U.S Beef, Fish Head
They serve loads of dishes to your stomach content until you can get confuse on what to eat next. Not all dishes taste that great but I would say it is much better compared to other buffet franchises. You can find grilled western, teppanyaki, dim sum, chinese dishes, salad and sushi bars, wide array of drinks and deserts (scroll below). Steamed fish and grilled U.S beef are some of my favourites !

Slipper Lobster, Scallop, Dim Sum, Sting Ray
If you want to eat whats your money worth, go for seafood and raw sushi as what they served are fresh and replenished quickly. Not to forget, the slipper lobsters, scallops and grilled teppanyaki sting ray are damn delicious. The best part is, it is refillable !

Red Wine, Coconut, tea, Kung Fu Soup
Variety of drink are available, hot Chinese teas, red & white wines, juices , coconuts and even cocktails are available!

Juice Drinks

Häagen-Dazs, Pastries, New Zealand Natural
Deserts are also delightful here, there is a wide array of mo chis, ice creams, cakes, tong shui, cookies, and fruits. Do not forget to eat their deserts ! I personally recommend Häagen-Dazs' truffle cappuccino, and their peach cake !
